Adoption Policy

At Talking Parrots Home, our priority is placing each parrot in a safe, loving, and responsible home.

Eligibility

• Applicants must be 18 years or older.
• We may ask about prior bird-keeping experience.

Application Process

• Submit an inquiry through our website or contact page.
• A short video call or photo of your setup may be requested.
• We review each application to ensure suitability.

Health and Care

• All parrots are DNA sexed, vet checked, and come with health records.
• A care plan and 30-day support are provided with each adoption.

Rehoming Agreement

• Birds may not be resold or rehomed without our consent.
• If you can no longer care for your bird, contact us to arrange return or rehoming assistance.

Transport and Delivery

• Local pickup and arranged shipping are available where permitted.
• Birds are transported safely and ethically.
